Pulsation Dampers
For Flow Smoothing and Pressure Pulse Interception
Pulsation Dampers In Dual Use Configuration,
For Flow Smoothing AND Pressure Pulse Interception, by multi connection Thru-Flow.
Due to the instability of metal prices, please call the factory for pulsation damper prices.
To use any damper rated above 370 Bar / 5,350 psi at a greater pressure, please add 98 to list price, and specify Pre-Fill Valve Nbr. "8M-28 f/ss, for uses up to 750 Bar / 10,800 psi. |
PART NUMBER LETTERING ABBREVIATIONS: "TW" - Twin Connection, is replaced by "FF - for a single Flange Face (no extra charge). "+ Flg". a flange that is larger than the Damper. welded on (at extra charge). "O" denotes "O" ring face (no charge), matches a bolt on piping base block ("+PB"). Model Nbr. preceded by "U" = an ASME "U" stamped damper. OR "CE" where pressure times volume of liquid danger causes the EU Pressure Equip Directive category. Prefix "JKT" denotes hot or cold jacket.
WETTED PARTS MATERIAL DESIGNATIONS: Replace the "Ss" in the part nbr. As follows, "DSS" - Duplex Stainless (2205, F-51, UNS S31803), SDSS - Super Duplex (2507, UNS S32750), A20 - Alloy 20, T2 - Titanium 2, H22 - Hasteloy 22, HC 276 - Gr. C276, H2 - Gr B2. Tan - Tantalum.
CONNECTION Abbreviations: - "F" - Female, M - Male, B- BSP/ ISO straight thread, N - NPT, TD - Single Thread, W - Weld Prep 37.5 Degree, SO - Socket for welding your pipe into.
("NB") - Note Bene - Design Pressure "DP" at temperature, will vary by allowable stress for other than dual certified 316/316L "Ss" material. Design Pressure may be MAWP +10% for RV set pressure. Then + 15% for RV accumulation. Hence MAWP may be D.P. times 0.79. Alternately MAWP may be DP at the discretion of the end user (according to the "ASME" who take no responsibility).
DIN 2501 "DN--PN--" flanges may imply the use of European Pressure Vessel codes. Be aware that they use higher allowable working stresses, so may be less safe than our 30 year proven standard, which has ensured no fatigue failure from strain fluctuation in this cyclic stress application. |

PipeHugger HP is also ideal for flurries and suspended particulate, because the bladder is constantly shaking it free, unlike "gas bags" which pack it against the vessel wall. |
